Book Series: The Folk of the Air

Book #3.5

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with this book. First, it was too expensive for such a short story/novella. It can't cost the same as one of the full books of the trilogy. Second, and this is the real reason of my disappointment, it felt incomplete. Sure, we get some insights into the life of Cardan. We fill some of the blanks, but I thought there would be more, especially about his present, about his life and challenges as the High King and his relationship with Jude. I thought we would get to see more of how he fell in love with her. We get glimpses, but not exactly of the best scenes in the trilogy. I just wish there was more to the story, that's all.
