🌈 Heated Rivalry
I’m hearing the TV series has surpassed the book?

It can be read as a standalone.
Highlights
I get the appeal of the rivalry, and maybe you can feel the tension and struggle better in a visual environment. In the book context, I have to say I enjoyed more Game Changer, the first book in this series—it can be read as a standalone as well.
What to Expect
- Forbidden love
- LGBTQ+
- Male to male romance
- Sports romance
- Spicy
- Rivals to lovers
🎥
You can find a TV series adaptation on HBO.
What I Missed
- This format of almost like diary entries slowed the flow for me.
- Ilya’s evolution from arrogant to sweet went from 0 to 100 quickly. So, I struggled picturing this new side of him. I couldn’t connect completely with them.
❤️🔥
I could definitely see what I missed in the book in the TV series. It started slow—the same thing breaking the events with the dates. However, the chemistry and relationship evolved beautifully through the episodes.
