I received an ARC of this book.
I classified this novel in my wildcard category as it’s more fiction with some romance in it than romance per se. It was well-written, well thought, intriguing—as you knew the characters had some secrets you wanted to know more about—, emotional and vulnerable and with very complex people and dynamics. I didn’t know what to expect when I got this book, and I was more than pleasantly surprised. It was magnificent, eye-opening and real.
I don’t give five stars lightly, but I believe this book deserves it, and being a debut novel, even more.
