One of the longest and eternal books I’ve ever read…

Highlights
The world reflects an intricate and diverse system of beliefs and codes of conduct very representative of a modern society. Moreover, I highlight the empowerment of women in this tale.
What to Expect
- Multiple POV
- Open loops at the end
- Queer representation
- Fantasty with romance
- Dragons and unique magic sources
- Multiple love affairs
- Complex world & a lot of names
- Concealed truths
- Very religion/belief-focused
- Greed and entitlement
What I Missed
- More than half of the book went slow. There was a lot of context, names and locations. Then, we went jumping from one character’s storyline to the next. And the tension building was little.
- I saw more potential with the dragons and their magic. At the end, though, most just acted as a means of transportation with sharp teeth and tails.
- The ending left some open loops. I’m not sure if they’re meant to be explained in another book as the other published stories in this series precede this one.
- As it usually happens, stories with multiple points of view cut the tension and flow of the story, making it longer and slower to read.
