Highlights
This book reminded me of The Prison Healer, which is saying something as this is a 5-star club of mine. There were some similarities in the plot, and especially in its surprising twists.
What to Expect

- Love triangle
- Secrets & betrayal
- Confusing schemes
- Slow pace at times
- Many twists and reveals
What I Missed
- The story was intriguing. The plot had potential. The twists were really good. However, the execution, to pull it all through, needed an extra notch. Especially towards the end, there were facts surrounding the reveals that didn’t feel entirely credible to me, like they came out of the blue. I needed the intrigue and the clues to weave better the story as not to leave important gaps in the twists.

There were a lot of orthographic mistakes, but I know there’s a new revised edition coming soon. So maybe those were fixed.
